Kal Barrow, offers machinery and equipment appraisals, and cost survey/cost segregation analyses. Kal has over 40 years experience appraising machinery and equipment, and performing cost segregation analyses of buildings, structures, and land improvements both here and abroad. He currently acts on a consultant basis and maintains the status of Retired with ASA.

Expert Witness

An FDIC and United States Marshals Service approved appraiser, Mr. Barrow has testified, been deposed, and has had his work accepted as expert before various courts and Tax Appeal Boards in California, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas.

Mr. Barrow has appraised machinery and equipment and provided cost surveys throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, the Caribbean, Israel, Australia and Europe.

ASA Member Retired

Kal served as President of the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers for two separate terms. He has been elected as a Life Member to the Society, and is also a past member of their Speaker's Bureau and its Publication and Editorial Review Board. He is a past Chairperson of ASA's International Publications Committee and its International Public Relations Committee, and is Past Vice-chair Machinery & Technical Specialties of the Board of Examiners. Mr. Barrow is author of the current examination in Technical Valuation - Cost Surveys and is a popular instructor, speaker and author for ASA and other organizations.
